Long Song Description:
A new concert overture for the Boise Philharmonic. Premieres January of 2012.
Program Notes:
This overture portrays a short, harrowing flight into O'Hare, surrounded by storms, that I had recently. First the take off, then a false sense of elation and calm as cruising altitude is reached, followed by mild turbulence, then the descent and landing that frightened me consideratbly.
